How I See The World is a collaborative collection between Cape Town artist and illustrator Careshia Esperanza and ONEOFEACH, a Cape Town-born mother-and-daughter design brand known for its bold, hand-beaded bags and distinctive approach to colour, craft and storytelling.

At its heart, the collaboration is about perspective. Both Careshia and ONEOFEACH are shaped by Cape Town, yet by different experiences and ways of seeing the same city.

Created across two time zones, with Careshia in Cape Town and Tamburai in the United States, the collection brings those perspectives together through art, fashion and handcraft.

Careshia’s expressive, colourful artwork moves beyond the canvas and is translated into ONEOFEACH’s signature beadwork. Each image is interpreted by hand, transforming illustration into texture and the handbag into a wearable piece of art.

The collection forms part of ONEOFEACH’s Spring/Summer 2027 collection in South Africa and Autumn/Winter 2027 collection in the United States and other international markets.

At its core, How I See The World explores two worlds within one city — Cape Town — a place of extraordinary beauty and creativity, but also one shaped by history, contrast and very different lived realities. Rather than erasing those differences, the collaboration brings them into conversation through colour, craft and shared creative expression.

The result sits somewhere between art, fashion and everyday life. How I See The World is an invitation to see through another person’s eyes and carry a little of that perspective with you.
